Our Story

Hi, we’re three sisters from Sydney with a passion for making and eating all things sweet! Our love for Rocky Road started 10 years ago after making our first homemade batch. We instantly knew that we had stumbled upon something truly special by the overwhelming positive feedback from friends and family. Since then, not a holiday has gone by where our Rocky Road hasn’t been a smash hit!

Fast forward 10 years, in the midst of juggling demanding corporate careers and studies, we decided to finally pursue our dreams of starting our own small Rocky Road business. In January 2023 Rocky Road Society was born out of our parent’s kitchen.

The secret to our perfect recipe is loading our Rocky Road with the highest quality Australian made ingredients. Simply put, we don’t cut corners when it comes to quality, and we don’t settle for ordinary. Our Rocky Road is more than just marshmallows and our flavour combinations make for an irresistible treat.

We hand-craft and package every piece of our Rocky Road right here in Sydney.

  • Sustainable and Eco-friendly packaging

    • All our cellophane bags, stickers, labels and butcher paper are biodegradable.

    • Our Padded Mailers are made from 100% recycled plastics and can be recycled where soft plastics are accepted. They can also be reused, with a second adhesive strip!

  • Waste Reduction

    • We make all your items to order to minimise waste.

    • Every bit of Rocky Road we make goes into your order.

  • Ethically and Sustainably Sourced Ingredients

    • We use 100% sustainably sourced cocoa, and our ingredients are 100% palm oil free.

  • Supporting Local

    • All our ingredients, where possible are made and packaged in Australia.
